Master Thai N. Le

Mr. Thai N. Le, Master Instructor and founder of Spirit Taekwondo Academy, is a 5th Degree Certified Black Belt with the World Taekwondo Federation.

Master Le has over 17 years of training in the Martial Arts, and has himself, trained many people, both adults and children, to Black Belt excellence.

Master Le is a former 3 time Canadian National Champion and International Silver Medallist. In 1995 he was honored with the Most Valuable Player Award at the Canadian National Taekwondo Team Trials. Having represented Canada at the World Championships and placing 5th in the world games, Master Le knows what it takes to be a champion. He has trained along side with great fighters from the Mixed Martial Arts world; Carlos Newton, Frank Shamrock, Bas Rutten and Maurice Smith are to name a few.

Master Le has an excellent program for children that will improve your child's attitude, concentration, grades and teach them self-discipline! Help your child achieve his or her potential! He not only teaches Martial Arts but valuable life skills that will help your child grow to become a leader in the community.

His dedication and love for the Martial Arts has made him pursue a Martial Arts career to teach his knowledge and skills to all. His goal is to have each of his students sweating, smiling and learning in every class.

Tammy Le

Hello my name is Tammy Le and I am the office manager and Little Spirits (ages 3-6) instructor at Spirit Taekwondo. I have been teaching the little Spirits and a Women’s Self-defense/Fitness class for the past 2 years. I am 1st Dan Black Belt certified by the World Taekwondo Federation and a Level 2 coach in the National Coaches Certification Program.

My highest qualification to be the Little Spirits Main Instructor is being a mother to my son. I fully understand what it takes to be patient and understanding for my peewees. The same life skills I teach to the Little Spirits (Patience, Integrity, Respect, etc) are the same values my husband and I teach our son.

I hope that you join our extended family here at Spirit Taekwondo; I know that Taekwondo has brought our family closer together.

Samil Junuzovic

Hello, my name is Samil Junuzovic. I have been training in Taekwondo for the last 10 years and currently hold a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo certified with the World Taekwondo Federation. I have been instructing here at Spirit Taekwondo for the last 4 years and certified in the Instructor Program.

My love for the art and sport of Taekwondo has given me the enthusiasm to be able to work with children, juniors, and adults. Other qualifications include having my certified first aid training and also being a level 1 coach in the NCCP (National Certified Coaches Program).

Some of my competition accomplishments include being a 4 time Junior Provincial Champion (2000 – 2003). Recently I placed 3rd at the Canadian Junior Nationals in 2003.
